This was a slow summer. We didn't travel this summer but we did go away a few times.
A visit with a Jr. High School friend. I found her on facebook. What a great way to find old friends & aquaintences.

We went to several beaches in September.
Venice Beach
I was looking for shark's teeth. I didn't find any this time. But the last time we visited this beach I found a lot of them.
Siesta Beach
Siesta beach is only a half mile long. The sand is so white & feels like baby powder. The sand is fine mineral quartz. It comes down from a river from the Appalachian mountains. The sand is cool to the touch even on the hottest day.
